Living on the island of Goeree-Overflakkee, she often wanders along the coast, drawn to the rhythm of the sea. Long-exposure photography and the creative use of grey filters have become some of her favorite ways to express the atmosphere of a scene.
Sharing knowledge is an essential part of who she is. With a background in education, it feels natural for Ellen to teach, guide, and inspire others. She has been leading workshops and giving lectures for years, always with enthusiasm and an accessible, down-to-earth approach. Her work also extends to guiding photography tours to some of the world’s most photogenic destinations.
